My dear Mother
My wound has not been doing quite so well lately but a final voyage of discovery by the doctor this morning, has made it all right I think.
I am planning to come to Cedarville next Monday -- March 21st to stay until Wednesday. I leave for the South on Thursday the 24th to join Mary Smith for a few weeks and I expect to [page 2] return in a fine state of health.
It seems a long time since I have seen you and I find myself very impatient for Monday to come.
