Jane Addams to Hamlin Garland, April 29, 1907

HULL-HOUSE,
335 SOUTH HALSTED STREET,
CHICAGO.

My dear Mr Garland

Your kind letter came when I was in New York which accounts for my delayed reply. I want so much to have you see the new Boys Club and and other enlargements.

Would it be possible for you to bring your little girl to see "Alice in Wonderland" next Saturday afternoon.

I wish very much that you might come to lunch at one o'clock. The children [page 2] do it very well and I am sure that you would like their enjoyment of the [illegible words].

I am rejoicing with your many friends that you have come back to Chicago.

Always Faithfully yours

Jane Addams
