WOMEN TO CONFER ON PLANS TO FURTHER LASTING PEACE.

Washington -- To develop American public opinion on the question of rights of oppressed and dependent nationalities at the end of the great war a conference will be held here Dec. 10-11 under the auspices of the American delegation to the congress of the International Committee of Women for [a] Permanent Peace to be held after the war. Miss Jane Addams, Mrs. Fannie Fern Andrews, Miss Emily Greene Balch, Mrs. Florence [Kelley] and Mrs. Lucia Ames Mead have arranged for the conference. The committee on arrangements consists of Miss Grace Abbott, Chicago; Miss S. P. [Breckinridge], University of Chicago; Mrs. William Jennings Bryan, Miss Mary McDowell, Mrs. Raymond Robins and Miss Lillian Wald.

The second annual meeting of the National Woman's Peace Party, Miss Jane Addams, president, will be held here Dec. 8-10.
