THE WOMAN'S PEACE PARTY
THE SECTION FOR THE UNITED STATES OF
THE INTERNATIONAL COMMITTEE OF WOMEN FOR PERMANENT PEACE
NATIONAL OFFICE
ROOM 1506, 116 S. MICHIGAN AVE.
CHICAGO

July 27th, 1917.

My dear Mr. Baldwin:

Miss Addams is going to be in the city for two or three days next week and I shall take up with her the question raised in your letter as to the stand of the Woman's Peace Party in reference to the Conscientious Objectors.

Here in Chicago, though the Woman's Peace Party itself has taken no definite stand, both Mrs. Thomas and I are on the Executive Board of the American Liberties Defense League and helping in every way possible.

Very sincerely yours,

Eleanor Daggett Karsten [signed]
Office Secretary
Mr. Roger Baldwin,
70 Fifth Avenue,
New York City.
