Miss Jane Addams,
Chairman, Woman's Peace Party,
Chicago.

My dear Miss Addams: --

I received your telegram on the 23d, and today sent a telegram to President Wilson, signed by Mrs. Taussig, chairman of the St. Louis Branch of the Woman's Peace Party. We are glad to do this and anything which seems to be of any value in helping along the idea involved -- of doing our duty toward shortening the present war and abolishing war as an institution of the future.

Sincerely yours,

Catharine Cranmer [signed]
Executive Secretary,
St. Louis Branch of Woman's Peace Party
