My dear Miss Wald

When I found that the meeting had been changed to Boston, I wrote the editor and had the proof sent there where it reached me safely on Saturday afternoon. I am sorry that you have had it in your mind and I ought to have written you about it. It is a [wretched] article at best and not worth so much trouble. We find our lives in [page 2] very pleasant places here and are both flourishing. M.R.S. I think is decidedly better. She was able to make a very satisfactory arrangement for Ruth's summer and all moves smoothly at the other end of the line. I am quite losing my heart to this eastern coast which seems most enchanting from Bar Harbor down. With much love to you in which Mary joins, I am always faithfully yours
