I desire to thank you for your collection of literature bearing on military training in our public schools, recd through Mrs Karsten.
Permit me to suggest that [illegibl] you edit and supplement the appeal to mothers and fathers, then either mail or telegraph as a night letter, to Mrs Wilson the first lady of the land, and at the same time and & same way send a copy to each of the News Associations in Washington also to the Chicago Newspapers, it would receive almost universal publicity. This only a suggestion not a "Command" <but there is no time to be lost.>
