Dear Miss Addams:

Miss DeGraff's letter reached me, and yours of the 16th. is received. I sorrow much to omit you from my list of Quaker Peace Apostles. But I am grateful for your Quaker grandmother, and still more grateful for you: just as you are. I can always think of you, at least, as on my list with Elizabeth Fry and Lucretia Mott.

Mrs. Andrews is urging me to go to Europe in April for a meeting of the "Central Organization for a Durable Peace." I observe that you are a member of the American group. Would it be wise and practicable to unite this movement with Mr. Ford's?

Sincerely yours,

Wm. I. Hull.

P.S.
I am sending you another copy of my Preparedness pamphlet.
