The Macmillan Company want to know about spring announcements. If it is agreeable to you I will tell them to include your book. It seems to me that for years there has not been so favorable a time for its appearance. There is a disposition to consider peace measures such as there has not been for many years. The enclosed clipping is only one of a great many evidences which reach me.
