Miss Jane Addams:

My dear Miss Addams:-

My March number of the [Ladies] Home Journal is just in, and I have just finished reading your article "Fifteen Years at Hull house" and as I have admired you, and, your soul saving work, for so many years, this article appeals to me so strongly that I feel I must simply tell you how greatly it pleases me to have you tell us all about your very humane work and how you did it.  You will never live to know the good you are doing.  I am more anxious than ever to visit Hull House.

Very truly your friend

Mrs H. C. Mowry.
