I don't think I told you how much I appreciated your word about the annual report. It is really a sockdologer sort of a job to swing the ruck of publishing details -- another year we won't have to -- into line, so that they will have any "punch" for our general readers. Most of the Board did not like either the details or the "punch"; but, curiously enough, I counted you and Mr. de Forest as a majority vote. You were both for it.
By cutting the text a fifth, breaking up the type and adding Miss Merriman's corking diagrams, I think we have something that will get across.
