Miss Jane Addams,
335 South Halsted Street, Chicago, Ill.

Dear Miss Addams:

Do you believe that Mrs. Florence Kelley would make a good Labor Commissioner in New York. If so, will you tell me why as forcibly as possible for purposes of quotation in personal letters to people who may be brought to take an interest in her candidacy?

Could you get me also a letter on the subject from Mr. Frederick Deknatel?

December 17, 1904.
