NEW YORK, October 17, 1913.

Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago,
Ill.

My dear Miss Addams: --

I ask your immediate written endorsement of the scheme described in enclosed circular; same to be printed and sent to our Progressive clubs to interest them and help to establish the worth of the campaign therein outlined.

I have prepared these six lectures as the cheapest and the most effective way to interest our clubs, especially the smaller clubs, towns and country districts, and to keep our political fires burning throughout the year. These six lectures are a graphic illustration of our whole program.

Very sincerely yours,

Montaville Flowers. [signed]
Director, Lyceum Service & Speakers' Bureau.
