I am so sorry not to be able to stay for dinner tomorrow evening, but our School Management Committee meets every Friday at five o'clock and I shall be obliged to leave the University early in the afternoon.
May I ask you to arrange with Miss Breckinridge that I may speak earliest in [page 2] the afternoon program. We are in such a crisis just now that I would not want to be late to the Committee meeting.
