April 8, 1912.

My dear Mr. Bevans: --

I was much interested in looking over your blanks and am sincerely sorry that they come at a time when I am not able to give them adequate attention.

We have had many classes and lectures during the last twenty years at Hull-House which have been largely attended by working men, and they of course differ in their tastes and interests just as any other body of men do. Among them we have found many keen minds and occasionally the purely intellectual or scholarly type.

Sincerely yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
