315 Douglas Avenue Monday.

My dear Jane,

Did you ever get my acknowledgement of the check you sent me for $100? I am sure, and yet not sure, that I sent it. But it was such a comfort to get it <-- the money --> and to use it immediately for some payments that [page 2] were imperative. Half went toward my insurance premium. Only one more (in 1913), and I am done with that. I am so proud of what you have done for the cause of woman. It is the best of all your long list. Aren't you coming on for Sept. 10 When Gov. Johnson will be here?

[written on right margin] Faithfully, F. Guiteau
