My dear Lady
Mrs Norton recommends Miss Wallman who is here with her now. She seems to have had a great deal of [training] [although] she is not altogether prepossessing. However she will write you. Miss Day is not here yet but both Mrs Norton and Miss Barrows think that Miss Wellman [illegible] do [much?] better. The school is a great success & so well started that I am going home tomorrow, especially as they seem very short handed at H.H.
If I could do any thing for the [illegible words] pleasure. yrs J.A.
