Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago.

Dear Miss Addams:

I received a letter today from Judge Horner informing me that there will be nothing coming to Hull House from the Hutchinson Estate until after Mrs. Hutchinson's death, at which time Hull House will receive an income from a trust fund of $25,000.

Under the will of Wm. P. Tuttle, Hull House will receive 1/20th part of a bequest which the executors estimate conservatively will be in excess of $800,000 -- or $40,000.

I have written to Judge Horner to ascertain whether or not we may expect at least a portion of the $40,000 during this year.

Faithfully yours,
