My dear Mr White

May I tell you how much I admire your life of Woodrow Wilson which I have just finished?

It seems to me by far the best estimate of him which has been made.

I am venturing to send you a book of mine hoping you may care to read the chapter on Wilson of which I have turned down the page. I knew him fairly well before the war, had seen him [page 2] six or eight times at his own request, but of course I never saw him again after hostilities began.

With cordial greetings to Mrs White and yourself,

I am faithfully yours

Jane Addams
