My dear Miss Addams:

You want, I believe, the names of two people interested in the settlement to be associated with you in raising money in Louisville for the Barnett Fellowship. Mrs. Alex G. Barret, 431 Park Avenue and Mr. E. S. Tauchau, Speed Building, both of Louisville will be glad to serve with you for this purpose. Mr. Kennedy asked me to give you a fact or two about those whose names I sent you. Mr. Tauchau, the president of Neighborhood House board is the [outstanding] man in social work in Kentucky. At present he is the president of the State Board of Charities and Corrections. Mrs. Barret also a member of the Neighborhood House board is much interested in bettering child labor and conditions for working women.

The [enclosed] is the list of the Louisvillians who would be most likely to be interested in the Barnett Fellowship.

I am happy to tell you that the ↑residents of the↓ various settlements in Louisville pledged $87.50 for the Barnett Memorial. I will collect and mail the check to you in a few days.

Sincerely yours,

Frances Ingram [signed]
