GOOD HOUSEKEEPING MAGAZINE
381 FOURTH AVENUE
NEW YORK
Oct. 6th, 1911.
Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Ill.
My dear Miss Addams:
I notice that McClure's Magazine announces articles from your pen, which leads me to hope that you will soon find time for the article which you kindly expressed a willingness to write for us last Spring. You will perhaps recall that our mutual friend, Mrs. Kretschmar, spoke to you about the matter.
Our series on the larger aspect of the problem of sex hygiene is starting finely with papers by Rev. Lyman P. Powell, Mr. Havelock Ellis, Dr. Felix Adler, Miss Clara E. Laughlin and others. Your particular advantage in knowing about servant girls will, I presume, lighten the preparation of a paper for us, as soon as you have time. May we not now announce that the paper is forthcoming?
Sincerely yours,
James E. Tower [signed]
Editor.
