My dear Miss Addams:

It seems a long time since you have been with us for a lecture, and I am coming back to you once more to ask if you cannot come for the opening monthly lecture of the year. I am always particularly anxious to have our students hear you, and it would be a special pleasure to have you bring the note that you would bring into the opening weeks of the College year.

The honorarium is $50, and the train service is convenient, so that if you wished, you could make the trip both ways by sleeper at night.

The lecture comes at 11:30. I suggest for the date, October 12, but that particular date is not at all imperative. We should be glad to shift it to suit your convenience.

With sincere esteem, I am

Very truly yours,

Item Relations
