THE A. W. CRAIG COMPANY
DEALERS IN GENERAL MERCHANDISE
MELROSE, FLORIDA
Dec. 31st. 1924.
My dear Miss [Addams]:
When I wrote you in regard to some lots in Melrose, we always [thought] they belonged to your step mother, and that you might know something about this. You know she was here some years ago, with Dr. Frye. I have written to Gainesville and may find out from the Tax [assessor] to whom they belong. We have a beautiful little town, and some day when you can run away from the Snow, come down to see us. Your mother was with Mrs. Huffman, and she still has her Hotel. I have read lots of your work, and know it must be interesting.
We have had beautiful weather -- no cold yet -- escaped the promised frost.
Come to see us -- Thanking you
I am Sincerely --
(Mrs.) Jane C. Craig
