My dear Judge Lindsey:

I have sent your letter to Grace Abbott at the Children's Bureau, knowing she has something on the Juvenile Courts abroad which I am sure is just what you need.

I spoke in part of the Court in Berlin where so many children at the end of the war had been arrested for stealing food. We did see other places of course but that is the one which remains in my memory.

With all good wishes for the New Year for Mrs. Lindsey and yourself, I am,

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
