136 ASTOR STREET

My dear Alice

I am feeling so much better that I hope to go back to Hull-House tomorrow. The wound is still sore but now only a matter of time.

The children are all behaving so well that it is a great pleasure to be responsible for them at the present moment of course I have no actual care. [page 2]

Laura and Esther seem to be getting on very well at Cedarville. Weber Linn was here to dinner last night with Charles Worrall and his new wife whom he has just brought to Chicago. She is a Philadelphia girl with no family here, and I was glad to have her come. Always, dear Alice, your loving sister Jane Addams
