Hull's Cove Maine Sept 2d 1924

My dear Mrs Lovett,

Mrs Post wrote that you had sent $20.00. I hope you didn't give it yourself -- it is too much added to all [that] you have done. I am also writing to people that we now have secured the needed amount -- we hope enough left over to [publish] the two [page 2] Summer School papers.

I can't tell you how glad I am that you are at Hull-House this month, with Mr Byron away, it makes a very great difference in my ability to be here until later in Sept.

I hope there won't be too many queer things coming up -- Always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
