My dear Mr. McCormick:

For several years you very kindly sent us a contribution of $100 dollars towards the general expenses account of Hull-House.

While we realize that this does not constitute a claim upon your generosity, we should be very grateful if you could give us the same amount this year.

The needs of the neighborhood crowd upon us, it is difficult to give up any of our regular undertakings and new demands are constantly arising.
