CHICAGO, Jan, 22 (United Press). -- Miss Jane Addams said today she doubted a girl held in Atlanta is Jeanne DeKay, missing heiress. A description of the girl tallied only slightly with that of Miss DeKay she said.
“I believe the girl in Atlanta is Jeanne LaRue,” Miss Addams said. “A girl by that name called me up here January 5 and said she had information regarding Miss DeKay. She was unable to help us.”
The girl at Atlanta was arrested for wearing male attire.
