Dearest Lady --

If I came up to N.Y. from Phila, on Sunday A.M. May 15" do you suppose that I could see Mrs Schiff, Mrs Willard Straight or the Misses Lewisohn about our old fund?

We have about 5000.00 in the general fund, have sent $350.00 for the Salzburg students & 200. to Vienna for our own food. But it comes in very slowly and I must do something. Could you make appointments for me or would it be about as easy for you to ask yourself? If we only had a [page 2] few $500.00 it would be an immense help. Do [telephone] me here in Phila., where I will be speaking for the Am. Academy of Pol & Soc Science, c/o Mr Rowe.

Always yours Jane Addams.
