Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
Chicago, Illinois.

Dear Miss Addams:

Thank you for your prompt telegram. We at once got in touch with Miss Kittredge who says that the coast was clear for your luncheon on Friday, June 3. Mrs. George Dupont Pratt invited members of our Development Committee for one o'clock at the Colony Club, Park Avenue and 62nd Street.

We are also including several of the donors to the Graphic Fund.

In sending out the invitation we made mention that the time and place were so set that you could be with us. It is very good of you to give us this time on the last day you are in New York before sailing, but I need not tell you what high hopes we hold out for this graphic development of the Survey.

While we have not raised the full sum necessary, the minimum which gives us a sense of sureness of footing is pledged and this will be the initial meeting at which plans are broached. We are looking for some creative suggestions from you.

Sincerely,
