Do you know Miss Madeleine Foreman and what do you think of her?
This seems a noble offer and Miss Addams has written a polite note [illegible] ↑saying↓ that it would be very nice to have her go on with the kindergarten but at the same time referring her to you. Would you be good enough to call up Miss Foreman and decide the matter. It will, of course, be too late when Miss Addams goes home.
We have missed you all very much and have felt quite friendless in this last hotel. Our plan is still for the Stanley on the 25th and I mean to carry it out this time -- not matter how much [page 2] adrenaline it takes to get me [over] the road. Miss Addams sends her love.
