My [dear] Mr Dodd

May I thank you for the copy of the Woodrow Wilson which you so kindly sent me. I had lent my copy so that it is "lost awhile" and I am very impatient to get at it for a righteous [judgment] is surely needed. They gave me an honorary degree at the Lincoln Memorial University, the other day and such a discussion as I had with a Virginian on the subject! I think Lincoln himself was never more severely arraigned and I am sadly in need of material.

With sincere appreciation of your courtesy

I am Faithfully yours

Jane Addams [signed]
