My dear Stanley

I am sending Jane a chair that belonged to the "parlor set" of my mother -- her great grandmother. I gave one each like it, to Weber's little girls and I am saving the last three for Esther's daughters but am using them in the meantime. I had the chair sent to Corona California as I supposed you had no express nearer. Is that right and could you write to the express office there?

We are very anxious to hear about Myra. I will write her at once. Always yours [devoted] aunt Jane Addams.
