My dear Alice
I am awfully sorry to hear that you had such a wretched cold. You know that Laura and I expect to be sent for when you are sick and that one of us can always get away. Please let us hear from you soon, as to how the cold is coming on. The Boy's Club opening was one the finest occasions we ever had and we are all very happy over it. Esther, Charlie & the children are here & a great pleasure. Always yrs J. A.
