My dear Mrs Barnett

I hope to come to London next Saturday or Monday, my plans depending somewhat upon those of a Red Cross friend who has fallen ill here.

Lady Courtney of Penwith has asked me to stay with her for a little while, the address as you know is 10 ↑15↓ Cheyne Walk Chelsea. [page 2] May I come to see you at once and express my admiration for the wonderful book you have written about a rare spirit? I didn't see it until Mary McDowell brought home her copy.

Anticipating seeing you with much eagerness, I am always devotedly yours

Jane Addams
