My dear Mr Lane
I had some correspondence with Paul Kellogg in regard to the article, and thought he agreed with me that as the account had been so full in The Survey, I would better write the paper out for The [Atlas]. Mr Sedgwick has signified his willingness for the article, [although] of course he is abroad just now. I hope it is all right and that I am not "going back" on old friends.
