My dear Miss Fishback:
Miss Addams has asked me to answer your letter of July 1st in reference to entering a protest against the sending of raw troops to France.
She wishes me to say that we have been protesting against this for some time and are still protesting. We very much hope that this protest may be of some avail.
I am wondering if you will not be interested in some of the literature of the Woman's Peace Party and am sending you a package under separate cover.
Sincerely yours,
Office Secretary
Miss Jessamine [S.] Fishback,
Fort Smith, Arkansas.
