Eleanor Daggett Karsten to Sarah Bancroft Clark, December 1, 1916

My dear Miss Clark:

Miss Addams has asked me to tell you how glad she was to receive the pamphlet which you sent her. She hopes very much that you may be in Washington at the Annual Meeting of the Woman's Peace Party, which is to take place there on December 8th, 9th and 10th, and is to be followed by a Conference of Oppressed or Dependent Nationalities. I am enclosing a Preliminary Program of the Meeting.

I have just received a letter from Miss Elizabeth Rhoads, the Secretary of the Wilmington Branch of the Woman's Peace Party, saying that they are planning to send eleven delegates to this meeting. We very much hope that you may be able to join these delegates.

Sincerely yours,

Office Secretary

Miss Sarah Bancroft Clark,
c/o Mr. William P. Bancroft,
Wilmington, Delaware.
