My dear Dr. Keppel:

I found your letter of December the 12th this morning upon my arrival in Chicago and wish to thank you for your kindness in the matter.

The Conference was very successful -- it was almost pathetic to see the response made by some of the representatives of the Oppressed Nationalities in their eagerness for a hearing before an American audience. There were no difficulties of any sort and with the exception of the [Serbian], every nationality was adequately represented. I am enclosing a Program.
