My dear Miss Wald

I thank you very much for your letter in regard to Emma Goldman, we knew the Chicago "suspects" and were able to act promptly for them but Miss Goldman's case was more perplexing. It looks now as if they would all be dismissed on Friday and the [troublesome] days come to an end.

Why can't you stop over [page 2] at Saratoga and spend Sunday with Mary Smith and myself? We arrive Saturday at five and will register at Congress Hall– Hastily yours

Jane Addams
