My dear Miss Reynolds
I shall be very glad to give the lectures between the first of the year and the twelfth of March.
Suppose we try a course of three one weekly in Jan'y or Feb'y and if they go very well have another set in the Spring?
I am rather "full up" as the English say with engagements for the rest of the winter. I am sending a syllabus with three [page 2] lectures marked which might perhaps [illegible] fairly well.
I am of course quite unable to advise in regard to the Talcott Memorial Fund because I know so little of what has happened since June. I fancied that Mrs Talcott was not very enthusiastic in regard to the library plan, but you would know much better than I, what it was wise to propose.
