My dear Mr. McCormick:

For many years you very kindly sent Hull-House $100 on the first of June, and I am venturing to remind you of this kindness a little before the actual date as we seem to be suffering from our usual Spring dearth of funds.

I realize, of course, that you are in no way pledged to continue your generosity but we should be very grateful if you felt that you could send it to us again.
