My dear Mrs. Dashiell:

I wish to acknowledge your note to Miss Addams and your letter to Mrs. Thomas in their absence. We regret exceedingly that you feel that it is necessary for you to resign the Chairmanship of Virginia, but can, of course, appreciate the fact that you are busy.

I will call your letters to the attention of the officers upon their return, and they will take up the matter of your resignation.

Sincerely yours,

Assistant Secretary.

Mrs. L. R. Dashiell,
920 West Grace Street,
Richmond, Virginia.
