My dear Miss Burritt:

Miss Addams has asked me to write you and tell your telegram to her in regard to the Ford expedition came just twenty-four hours before she fell ill. In the confusion and excitement which followed much of her mail was neglected. She is very sorry that no notice was taken of your request.

She asks me to tell you that she will be greatly gratified if you can attend the Annual Meeting of the Woman's Peace Party in Washington, to which you have already received an invitation.

She asks me to express to you the season's greetings and her wish that you may enjoy a happy holiday season.

Sincerely yours,

Executive Secretary.

Miss Marion Tilden Burritt,
