It will be delightful to have Marcet for Thanksgiving and of course she understands that we will expect her very often. You are very kind to want me to have a pedastal. I have been hoping to get one [page 2] for a long time as the bust is much too crowded on the mantle. I will very gladly see to it, so that it may be delivered on Saturday. I hope you will decide to come to see us when you come up to Rockford, it is such a near & easy trip. We have our first Woman's Club meeting this afternoon and I am interrupted by so many callers that I will give up a longer letter -- With love to you both always & [your loving sister] J.A.
