My dear Mrs Benedict

I talked to Mrs Ford about the residue of the $10,000.00. She was willing to have it turned over to the National office of the Woman's Peace Party for use in the same campaign of education.

As I remember when I left there was about 2,000.00 there. Could you send to the treasurer, Miss S Breckinridge $1,000.00, paying up all the bills from the other half & putting into the New York office what is left?

All this of course subject to the approval of Mrs Spencer.

I wish we could have a list of the people who sent the telegrams, it would be a splendid mailing list of interested people to use at the central office. We might send them [the] manifesto right now.

Hoping to see you in a few days. I am Hastily [yours]

[Jane Addams]
