October 8th, 1915.

My dear Miss Sharples:

I desire to thank you heartily for your letter of September the 30th, enclosing your Peace poems. The Woman's Peace Party is unable to print any matter except pamphlets and is, therefore, unable to accept your kind offer of the use of the poems with whatever returns might come from them. I suggest that you address the Advocate of Peace or some other such paper. Perhaps in time we may edit such a magazine, but for the present, we must limit ourselves. For that reason, I am returning these poems to you and thank you very much.

Sincerely yours,

Acting Executive Secretary.
