Ford, a Press Agent, Jane Addams Thinks
Chicago, Jan. 5. -- Miss Jane Addams, head of the [Woman's] Peace Party of America, in an interview today declared the Ford peace ship was not sponsored by the party. "I will not comment on the wisdom or folly of the peace ship," she said, "but it was not related to our movement. Mr. Ford knows the value of publicity. His whole European [pilgrimage] was a vast press agent project in the interests of peace."
