Biographical Text

Leonardo da Vinci was an artist of the Italian Renaissance. Considered to be one of the greatest minds in the western art tradition, Leonardo concerned himself with matters in science, literature, philosphy and religion in addition to art. Leonardo's best known works are the Mona Lisa, The Vitruvian Man and The Last Supper. Da Vinci died in 1519.
