Biographical Text

Arthur Whipple Jenks attended Dartmouth College, graduating in 1884, and then the General Theological Seminary, graduating in 1896. In 1911 he received the degree of D.D. from Dartmouth. He became an American Episcopal clergyman and a professor of ecclesiastical history at the General Theological Seminary. Jenks also wrote theological books.

Jenks died in 1922.
